2016 Toyota Avalon: Coming Soon to Virginia
Drivers in Virginia don’t have to wait long to drive the refreshed 2016 Toyota Avalon. This model is part of the fourth generation, which premiered in 2012, but features updated styling, new high-tech features, and improved performance.
Trim Selection
If you select the standard Avalon with a V6 engine, you can pick between the XLE, XLE Plus, XLE Premium, Limited, and Touring models. If you prefer the hybrid version for improved fuel efficiency, you can pick between the XLE Plus, XLE Premium, and Limited trims.
Improved Suspension
The 2016 Avalon features two unique suspension systems that are designed to reach a wider audience of drivers. The first suspension optimizes ride comfort for Avalon models from the XLE to Limited trims. The other retuned suspension comes with the Touring trim and improves the responsiveness and dynamics of the drive.
New Features
The Avalon continues to keep up with high-end features, and every single 2016 model now has a light gray interior with gray accent stitching, a chrome accent on the rear bumper, refined LED taillights, turn signals that are newly designed, and a front grille that is wider and lower while the upper grille is narrow. Opting for the XLE or XLE Plus grade now also gets you the tire pressure monitoring system that is tire specific, premium dash ornamentation in wood grain, the 7-inch screen for Entune audio plus, and 17-inch alloy wheels that are redesigned. The XLE Premium now has Entune Premium Audio with App Suite and Navigation as well as standard Qi Wireless Charging. Even the Touring grade has new features, including a sporty front fascia.
