The 2023 Toyota Sienna is mostly unchanged from the 2022 model year. The model sees an additional trim level joining the range, known as the 25th Anniversary edition. Celebrating 25 years of Toyota’s five-door minivan, only 2,525 will be built. Based on the sporty XSE trim, the 25th Anniversary edition receives special paint and a host of interior and exterior niceties. The 2023 Sienna continues the trend of being hybrid-only and offers a captain's chairs option for the second row.
Toyota is offering six trim levels for the 2023 Sienna. These are the following:
You might think that the LE is spartan, but that’s not the case. It’s got dual power sliding doors, tri-zone climate control, seven USB ports, and a 9-inch touch-screen infotainment system. Moving up the range, Limited and Platinum are positively luxurious. Heated and leather-trimmed captain’s chairs can be found in the second row. A premium JBL sound system is on offer. Even the driver receives a 10-inch color heads-up display and a panoramic 360-degree camera system.

The 2023 Toyota Sienna’s interior offers spacious accommodations for up to eight adults. Higher trim levels avail themselves of luxurious captain’s chairs in the second row that can recline into full ottomans. While tri-zone climate control is standard, optional four-zone climate control is on offer. An optional moonroof can be specified, and an onboard vacuum cleaner option enables easy cleaning. Base models receive a six-speaker system, with eight speakers on the XLE and XSE.
Standard on higher trim levels is a nice 12-speaker JBL sound system, which is optional for XLE and XSE. The cabin has plenty of storage spaces and cubbies and ample cupholders.
The 2023 Toyota Sienna continues with its SUV-esque looks unchanged. Lower trim levels are equipped with 18-inch alloys, but options up to 20 inches are available. Toyota offers no less than 10 colors for the 2023 Sienna. Some colors may be extra-cost options, as stated by the automaker.
The 2023 Toyota Sienna is powered exclusively by a hybrid powertrain. A 2.5-liter in-line four-cylinder is coupled with a pair of electric motors. Together, the system produces 245 horsepower and drives the front wheels through an e-CVT transmission.
An all-wheel-drive option is available and adds a third electric motor to drive the rear wheels. EPA estimates for the 2023 Sienna are 36 mpg for front-wheel-drive variants. All-wheel-drive variants fare slightly lower, at 35mpg.
