The 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Is Better Than Ever

The back features new taillights complete with a light-tube design as well as LED brake lights, a new bumper, and full-width chrome molding. The chrome body-side molding has the Land Cruiser logo, and the entire package is rounded out with 18-inch alloy wheels. The power bulge in the SUV’s hood gives a hint of the highly capable engine below. The V8 generates 381 horsepower and works with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the first for Toyota. Thanks to the standard Trailer Towing Package, you can tow up to 8,500 pounds.

As always, there is a single version of the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser available, and it is fully packed with all the features you could want. You can choose to have the semi-aniline perforated leather in new Terra brown or black, either of which is complemented by the Deep Wood trim and high-quality materials. Even Entune has been upgraded, featuring performance enhancements as well as Siri Eyes Free and Qi wireless charging.

Driver Assistance for the Toyota Land Cruiser

To help make the Land Cruiser better than ever, Toyota made it the first Toyota model to contain technology that will mitigate or prevent collisions and even help protect pedestrians if a collision does occur. This comes courtesy of the Toyota Safety Sense-P system with Frontal Collision Avoidance featuring pedestrian protection, Frontal Collision Mitigation, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Auto High Beams, and Lane Departure Alert. There is also a new Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Blind Spot Monitor as well as a standard backup camera.
