Friendship Firehouse Festival
Bring the family to Alexandria, Virginia to attend this year’s Friendship Firehouse Festival. This event is held each Summer to celebrate the role firefighters have played throughout history! The festival is proudly hosted by the Friendship Firehouse Museum with FREE admission. Come out this August 6th from 9 AM-2 PM for a day full of fun. Antique fire apparatus, craft booths, and merchant displays will all be featured. Children will receive free fire helmets to make them really feel like a “co-passenger” inside the city’s fire trucks! Tours of the museum will also be available alongside the outdoor activities.
Montgomery County Agricultural Fair
Plan your trip to Gaithersburg, Maryland this August for the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair. Don’t miss your chance to party with the animals August 9-11, 2017! This fair has been known to be the largest fair in the state of Maryland, so take this opportunity to see the farm life of Montgomery while having a blast! Entertainment, food, fun activities, and LIVE animals will be there for all ages to enjoy. General admission is $10 if you buy them online prior, but $12 at the gate. Comcast Outdoor Film Festival
If you love a good movie, then plan to attend the Comcast Outdoor Film Festival of North Bethesda, Maryland. Grab a buddy or the whole family to enjoy the 21st anniversary of this movie event! Three nights of featured movies and fun will all be happening on August 24-26, 2017. Food and snacks will also be available for purchase. So don’t forget to plan to come to this FREE event; gates are open to the public at 7:30 PM and movie will begin at dusk. Everybody’s favorite movies like Moana, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and The Lego Batman Movie are in store for this Summer.
